I would like a refund...The app never worked, immediately crashes after it is opened.

Better than $cientology....Must have...but do not want...google is your friend

The transitions are good ideas and the sun menu idea is kinda neat but they are very slow. It is too sluggish and buggy to be a good reference app. I hope it is updated to speed things up and make it more clean and quick.

Im not sure the developers motivation in creating a clunky, new interface for reading on the iPhone, but this is simultaneously slow, distracting, and difficult to use. After a few minutes of trying to navigate to a particular scripture -- and being unable to do so -- I gave up. The problem is the "page turning" metaphor rather than the "long scroll" as is used by every other version of the scriptures Ive seen. With this app, itll take significantly longer to get to a particular verse if, for instance, you wanted to find the scripture mentioned by your Gospel Doctrine teacher. That is, if you can get the interface to let you get there at all. Kudos for the developer trying something new, but, alas, it doesnt work.

I downloaded this because it was free (at the time) and to see how it compared to other interfaces of the scriptures. Frankly, it was slow and very cluncky feeling. Slow to load, slow to navigate, and a UI that just didnt work for me. The scriptural text is there, yes, BUT there are no chapter headings or section headings. There are no foot notes or any of the reference sections. I deleted this one after about 5 minutes of use simply because there are much better free options out there.

I guess it was ok. It was pretty glitchy and it took a while to learn how to use and even then it definatly was not worth money. Dont buy this!!!!!!!

once i got used to the page turning feature, i liked it. it is true that you can find scriptures faster with a scroller than a page turner, but it is a better way to read long passages at once (ie for personal scripture study.) i am deffinately using another app for institute, etc, but im keeping this for personal study.

Great for seminary when you learn how to use it

I did some reading and turned off my phone (power button) just like I do with most of my apps. Took my phone out a couple of hours later... It was hot and the battery was almost dead. Unlike the good Samaritan, it left me by the roadside almost dead. No other app I have does that. Bookmarks are also terrible. Cant update a bookmark, you just have to delete it and save a new one.

I had this one for about 30 seconds. I tried to find a scripture, and after getting tired of all the waiting and still not finding it, I gave up and deleted the app. It was worth a try as it was free, but unfortunately, it wasnt even worth that. The time it wasted cancelled out any benefit it brought.

I didnt like how the only way to get to a verse was to turn the pages. It was really annoying

How can you miss an entire book?

I was doing research, and needed to look up something in PoGP in Abraham... I still havnt been able to find it (Sun-Wheel, or otherwise). I DO like the Sun-Wheel idea, and the page turning... I just wouldve liked if their was an option to turn off page turning, for finger scrolling, for when you have to find a spacific scripture while in class quickly. Then being able to turn back on page turning for when "speed" isnt needed for looking stuff up. I gave it 3 stars, only because I cannot find the book of Abraham, JST, JS-History, and The Articles of Faith, sections of Pearl of Great Price anywhare. The books of the OT, NT, and BoM are seperated out by book in the list, and the PoGP isnt. All-in-all, a REALLY GOOD IDEA! But, just a little bit needed to fully round out the app.

Try it. Cant beat the price. I love reading to the night reading feature.

Awesome app looks very cool fliping threw pages also has bookmarks and if you press near the left side of the screen you can skip chapters

The interface is great! Its fun to use, but it would be nice to have ALL of the LDS Standard Works (including the rest of the Pearl of Great Price)! Id add two more stars for the complete set of scriptures! Maybe version 1.1??? Is an update planned?

I got this as a free app a few months ago and it was ok as an occasional reading tool but it is hard to navigate and so, so slow in switching between scripture passages that I gave up and bought a "real" app. You get what you pay for, and buying this is a false economy.

I bought this and it wont even load. If I could rate no stars I would.
